I do not like using the current phrase “The New Normal,” but I guess we’re all going to have to face the reality that some things will never be the same.
However, I can think of one of the “New Normal” that’s actually kind of nice. This is the outdoor seating at our restaurants and pubs. I think a lot of us enjoy a nice outdoor lunch on a sunny afternoon or a cool drink at our local pubs patio. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being a permanent addition.
All things considered, I thought we would share a couple items that might help with setting up your outdoor Restaurant or Bar area….
Our company specializes in the sales, rentals and modification of retired (or new) shipping containers. We have re-purposed containers into most anything you can imagine. A couple of these creations might be a great fit for your business for outdoor seating options, especially if you are in the bar or restaurant industry!!!

Modular Seating Areas
We have built several variations of our seating areas for an outdoor business area. Thus, have been nicknamed “Street Seats” and “Patio-Tainers”. These seating areas could help with maintaining social distancing . If you consider the style with the canopy top, it offers shade and protection from the elements.

Modular Bars and Serving Areas
Again, we have built several versions of the “Bar-Tainer” which, as the name implies, has been used for outdoor bar and serving areas. They have also been used for ticket sales, kiosks, DJ booths and concession stands are other possibilities as well.
Imagination is the limit!
The possibilities are wide open! Repurposed containers could make great centerpieces or focal points. They could be modified into big screen enclosures, aquarium, herb, vegetable garden, flower garden or small band stand and so on!
