Maintenance
Refrigerated containers are self-sufficient, but do require minimal maintenance. Depending on your region, it is a good idea to clean the condenser coil quarterly or more often depending on the elements around your container. It is also good for you to empty and thaw out your container on a regular basis. If you see a build-up of ice, this is an indicator that you need to defrost your container.
Power Requirements
Our Refrigerated Containers require a dedicated power source of 3 phase electricity. However, we now offer customization of reefers with our single-phase chillers and freezers. Voltage and amp options are below. If you have 208 voltage, this will require a transformer. If you are renting, there is no extra charge for the transformer.

Temperature
Refrigerated containers are built to maintain internal temperatures when the exterior temperature is the extreme opposite. Most of our cold storage containers maintain an internal temperature ranging from -10°F to +80°F. You can set the temp and change it right on the machine itself.
Parts and Service
After being in the refrigerated container business for over 40 years, we know the importance of service after the sale. Besides offering 24-hour technical support, we also offer reefer parts and service by carrying a full line of spare parts for the equipment we rent and sell. Read more.
Condition Options
We offer three different options for our refrigerated containers. All units are stainless steel inside and out. Units are supplied with Parts & Service Manuals. Below are our three options and their manufacture date (as of January 2024).
- New Container with New Machine. Manufacture date ranges between 2022 and 2023 for both the container and machine.
- Used Container with New Machine. The manufacture date for the container ranges between 2002 and 2009. The machine is new, so it is in the same range as above, 2022-2023.
- Used Container with Refurbished Machine. The date range for both used boxes and machines ranges between 2002 and 2009. Refurbished machines are entirely stripped down and rebuilt, much like a classic car. Read more about this process in our blog post.

- Unless otherwise noted, all containers are fitted with air curtains and interior lights.
