We are pleased to offer a New Single-Phase Chiller and Freezer option here at USA-Containers, LLC. This new product line offers 230 / 240-volt Single-Phase Chiller and Freezer units. Many of our customers do not have three-phase power service at their locations. It is very exciting for us to finally be able to offer an excellent cold storage solution to these specific customers.
We have struggled to find a simple, reliable refrigeration unit with enough capacity to cool or freeze a 20-foot container for years. These units are not limited to 20-foot containers. We can also install them in pairs of 40-foot containers. These units are extremely reliable, easy to repair, and have minimal electric components. Because this design has minimal electrical components, it offers fewer possibilities to fail, thus allowing our customers more reliability and peace of mind.
No Assembly Required
Our new single-phase chiller and freezers have a Monoblock Design. What is a Monoblock Design? It is fully assembled at the factory and requires no assembly. When we install the units, they are plug-and-play. Connect them to a power source and flip the ON switch, and they will be ready to go to work!
Specifications
There are different models for chilled and frozen applications. Unfortunately, they are not capable of doing both. Designed for either or, this allows the system to remain simple, economical, and reliable.
The chiller units can control temperatures from +55°F (+12°C) to +32°F (0°C), and the freezer units can control temperatures from +5°F (-15°C) to -12°F(-25°C).
Additional Information
Shipping containers are durable boxes designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, making them perfect for outdoor use. They can also be used indoors and are often placed in warehouses for storage purposes.
In many states, containers are classified as mobile structures and are thus exempt from property taxes and some code requirements. To confirm, check with your local agencies.
